Baptism

Baptism is the door which gives access to the other sacraments. Through water, we are freed from sin and reborn as sons of God; we become members of Christ.  Anyone who has not yet been baptized is able to receive the sacrament of baptism.  

NOTES:

  • Baptism Preparation Class Schedule:
  • (subject to change, depending on the availability of the instructor or if the date falls on a holiday)

  • English: every 2nd Tuesday of the month at 7:00PM
  • Spanish: every 3rd Tuesday of the months at 7:00PM
  • Vietnamese: every 1st Saturday of the month at 10:00AM

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Baptisms of Adults and Children over age 7:

Adults preparing for Baptism follow the RCIA process (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults). Children over the age of seven are prepared through the Children’s Catechumenate.  Please call the Parish Office for information regarding the Adult and Children’s Catechumenate: 408-262-8100.
